Welcome to the Blog

This is my little corner of the internet where I get to just… talk.

You'll find musings on print trends, peeks behind the collections, things that are inspiring me, things that are annoying me, and yes — the occasional bad selfie. Consider this the unfiltered side of Ellie Day Studio. The part that doesn't make it onto the portfolio page.

I've been obsessed with pattern, color, and the stories that live inside both for as long as I can remember. This blog is where that obsession gets to breathe a little. Some posts will be about the work. Some will be about what's influencing the work. Some will just be me rambling about a fabric I saw at a market or a sunset that made me want to paint everything orange.
